Passions
I love incorporating the beauty I observe around me into my work. Those observations combined with an appreciation for dramatic color and angle, help me to create cohesive designs for the stage. I use what I learn to help me with Lighting design which then helps me greatly for photography by it helps to expand my Imagination in light and how it works.
Lighting Design
Lighting design has been my main focus for many years now. Thinking about the different roles of light and how I can make it have personality in every show I do is something that I always strive for.
Theatrical, Concert, Dance, and Orchestral lighting are all areas that I love. Lighting Design brings me joy and I love designing every chance I can get.
Photography
Having a love and passion for lights, I am always looking for new ways to understand light and how it works in our world. Photography has been a great outlet for me to get deeply involved in. It helps me to think about light and angle in many different ways. Trying to figure out what the best possible angle is or what the best lighting direction would be for a photo leads me into thinking about light in many ways I haven't before and it has become a huge passion of mine.
